The project LevelUP: Ready for Work took place in Vatra Dornei and brought together young people and youth workers from different countries with the aim of improving employability skills and preparing young participants for the labor market.
Within this project, DGT Polska participated as a partner organization, actively contributing to the implementation of the activities and the overall learning process. Participants from DGT Polska were involved in non-formal education sessions focused on career readiness, personal development, teamwork, communication, problem-solving and understanding the demands of the modern labor market.
The project created a supportive international learning environment where participants exchanged experiences, worked in multicultural teams and developed practical skills relevant for employment and professional growth. Through workshops, group activities, simulations and reflection sessions, LevelUP: Ready for Work helped young people increase their confidence, motivation and awareness of their own strengths, while also strengthening cooperation between partner organizations and promoting European values such as inclusion, active participation, and lifelong learning. - DGT Polska (Facebook, Instagram)

From October 23rd to November 2nd, I had the chance to take part in LevelUP: Ready4Work in Argestru, Vatra Dornei (Romania) — a youth exchange funded by the European Union through Erasmus+ and organized by Association Initiative Sociale.
Bringing together young people from across Europe, the project focused on tackling youth unemployment by developing essential employability skills such as communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability.
Through engaging non-formal learning activities, we explored how to navigate today’s labour market, discovered what employers value, and built confidence to take our next professional steps.
Beyond skill-building, the experience strengthened intercultural understanding, inclusion, and solidarity, reminding us that collaboration and shared learning are key to shaping a more connected and resilient Europe.
Grateful for the inspiring facilitators, the amazing participants, and the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. I return home more motivated than ever to keep working for youth empowerment and meaningful opportunities for all. - Zuzana
Recently, I had the chance to join the Erasmus+ project “LevelUP: Ready4Work” held in Vatra Dornei, Romania, organized by Association Initiative Sociale and supported by the European Union.
The project gathered young people from several European countries who share a common concern — how to tackle youth unemployment and create new opportunities for our generation. Through interactive sessions, group discussions, and practical activities, we explored the realities of the European job market, exchanged ideas, and designed creative strategies to promote employability and entrepreneurship among youth. 💡
This experience has been an eye-opener in many ways. Working with peers from different cultural backgrounds helped me see how diverse perspectives can lead to more innovative solutions. I’ve learned not only about the challenges young people face when entering the labor market, but also about the power of collaboration, adaptability, and mutual support.
Participating in this project gave me the chance to:
✅ Strengthen my communication and teamwork skills,
✅ Learn to approach complex social issues from an international perspective,
✅ Gain a deeper understanding of how policy, education, and entrepreneurship can work together to reduce unemployment.
What I take home is more than knowledge — it’s inspiration to keep contributing to initiatives that empower young people and create sustainable change across Europe. 🌍✨
Thank you all 🤍 - Nina

I recently had the incredible opportunity to travel to Vatra Dornei for the project LevelUP: Ready for Work. This experience brought me together with young people and youth workers from across Europe, all with a shared goal: sharpening our employability skills and getting truly ready for the modern labor market.
Representing DGT Polska, I was right in the middle of the action. Through a series of non-formal education sessions, I dove deep into:
Career Readiness: Learning how to navigate the professional world.
Personal Growth: Identifying my unique strengths and building confidence.
Essential Soft Skills: Mastering communication, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.
What made this project special was the international environment. Working in multicultural teams allowed me to exchange experiences with peers from different backgrounds, turning every workshop and simulation into a lesson in adaptability. Whether we were tackling group activities or reflecting on our progress, the focus was always on practical, real-world growth.
By the end of the project, I felt more motivated and aware of my professional potential. Beyond my own development, it was inspiring to see how these initiatives promote European values like inclusion and lifelong learning. I’m walking away with new skills, a stronger network, and a much clearer vision for my future career. - Horia
