Greece R4W Online Dissemination

Greek Youth Mobility - Article LINK

1 more amazing project, 43 more amazing prople, 10 days in Romania and uncountable amount of things to think about.

Big thanks for Initiative Sociale and Greek Youth Mobility - GYM for letting me to participate. These memories are unforgettable. - Anastasiia

Just when you think a European trip means you’ll only discover new cheeses and mysterious mountain weather… surprise! You get a ticket straight to Asia, too—without ever leaving Romania🟦🟨🟥.

At “LevelUP Ready4Work,” we united youth teams from Greece, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, and Romania, but the plot twist? We were joined by vibrant participants from Kyrgyzstan, India, Jordan, and Bangladesh. Suddenly, every dinner felt like the United Nations cafeteria, every group discussion a mini World Expo🌍—and every new friendship a stamp in your “global experiences” passport.

It was magical to travel in Europe 🔵 E U 🔵 ⭐ 🔵 and—at the same time—hear stories and voices from Asia, to listen to different English accents mixing with local tales and jokes. Every pronunciation was a new horizon: from Mediterranean warmth to Asian rhythms. The level of diversity wasn’t just nice, it was inspiring—proof that employability and adventure ignore borders.

Sometimes the journey is about where you go; sometimes, it’s about who you meet along the way. This exchange proved that you don’t need a round-the-world plane ticket—just the courage to say “yes” to new experiences (and maybe learn how to say “hello” in five different ways).

Ready to work, ready to travel, and—most importantly—ready to connect far beyond your expectations. - Athanasios

I delivered a presentation to high school students who are preparing for Panhellenic exams (The Panhellenic exams are nationwide Greek exams that students take at the end of high school to compete for admission to universities) on my participation in an Erasmus+ project hosted by the Romanian organisation Asociatia Initiative Sociale. The session provided basic information about Erasmus+, an overview of the host organisation, and a summary of the knowledge and skills I gained, with a specific focus on youth unemployment in Europe. Following the presentation, I moderated a structured group discussion. We specifically discussed the overall experience of Erasmus+ projects, the value of non-formal education, the importance of intercultural learning, and the strong friendships that were built through this experience. We also talked informally about youth unemployment in Europe, the upcoming decision regarding the university they will soon have to choose and how this will affect their future, the importance of a well-structured CV, as well as some tips for job interviews they may have to attend later on.

The students followed the presentation with great interest, asked many questions, and learned a lot of new things. None of them were familiar with the Erasmus+ programs or the opportunities offered by non-formal education. They shared with me how much anxiety they feel about the exams and expressed that they see choosing a university as a decision that will shape their lives. However, after our conversations and discussions, they realized that life does not end with the exams, but rather something new begins. They also asked me for information about the Erasmus+ programs and how they can participate in them in the future. For my presentation, I needed a whiteboard, a marker, and an audience interested in the topic.

I delivered a presentation to my students on my participation in an Erasmus+ project hosted by the Romanian organisation Asociatia Initiative Sociale. The session provided basic information about Erasmus+, an overview of the host organisation, and a summary of the knowledge and skills I gained, with a specific focus on youth unemployment in Europe. Following the presentation, I moderated a structured group discussion.

The discussion addressed key challenges and possible responses to youth unemployment, as well as the role of Erasmus+ projects in supporting young people’s employability. The main elements of the activity included a brief project overview, personal learning outcomes, and an interactive exchange with students. The methods used were a multimedia presentation and moderated group dialogue. As a result, students increased their awareness of Erasmus+ opportunities and gained a better understanding of issues related to youth unemployment and skills development.

The dissemination activity proved to be highly effective in meeting its objectives, both in terms of informing students about the Erasmus+ programme and in raising their awareness of youth unemployment as a current European challenge. One of the most significant outcomes was the noticeable increase in students’ understanding of how international mobility projects contribute to personal and professional development.

Many students expressed that, prior to the presentation, they had only a vague idea of what Erasmus+ offered, and several of them stated that they now felt more confident considering participation in similar projects in the future. Overall, the dissemination activity not only transmitted information but also contributed to shaping students’ attitudes toward lifelong learning, employability, and European cooperation. The enthusiasm, questions, and reflections that emerged from the discussion indicate that the presentation had a motivating, informative, and empowering effect, encouraging students to view international experiences as valuable tools for their future academic and professional pathways.

Last autumn, we headed to the Romanian 🇷🇴 town of Vatra Dornei to participate in the project “LevelUP: Ready4Work!”. The project focused on one of today’s greatest challenges – youth unemployment in Europe and the employability of young people in the labor market.

Through creative workshops and group discussions, we joined participants from over seven countries to explore what the journey to a successful career entails. During practical simulations, we tackled real-world problems that young people encounter when job hunting. Activities that might have initially seemed like mere theory turned into a valuable lesson on the vital role soft skills play in an ever-changing environment.

Some of the most beneficial parts of the program included training in key elements such as effective communication, teamwork, and creative problem-solving – skills that are absolutely essential for today’s job market.

Overall, it was an incredibly inspiring ten days that were both eye-opening and allowed us to make lifelong friends. The experience and international contacts we gained will help us, as well as others, to stay motivated and better prepare for our future professional lives.” - Mladoevropani z.s. ✨LevelUP: Ready4Work! – An Unforgettable Erasmus+ Journey✨
🇬🇧:
I recently took part in the Erasmus+ project “LevelUP: Ready4Work!” in Vatra Dornei, Romania 🇷🇴✈️, where we tackled one of today’s biggest challenges — youth unemployability in Europe.
Over 10 incredible days, participants from more than 7 different countries came together to learn, share, and grow — not just professionally, but personally too. 💬🌍
Our days were filled with creative workshops, group discussions, and teamwork activities that helped us develop key skills for the job market — communication, collaboration, and problem-solving — all in a fun and supportive environment.
Beyond the learning, this experience was about connection and culture. We shared our traditions, stories, and laughter — discovering how diverse perspectives can unite us and inspire us to grow. 💫
A huge thank you to #InitiativeSociale for organising and hosting this amazing project! 🙌
Feeling so grateful for everyone who made these 10 days so special — we didn’t just explore Europe, we explored the world through each other. 💕
🇨🇿:
Sdíleli jsme své tradice, příběhy a spoustu smíchu – a objevili jsme, jak nás různorodé pohledy mohou spojit a inspirovat k růstu. 💫
Velké díky organizaci #InitiativeSociale za skvělou organizaci tohoto projektu! 🙌
Cítím obrovskou vděčnost za všechny, kteří udělali těchto 10 dní tak výjimečnými – nepoznávali jsme jen Evropu, ale celý svět skrze sebe navzájem. 💕 - Natalie

Day 9 LevelUp: Ready4Work

On the first day, the facilitators told us that time passes very fast. Today we felt it. We started the morning with our first energizer, Follow the Leader.

After the energizer, we had the session Sharing is Caring: Dissemination and Follow-up. The facilitators gave us clear guidelines for online and offline dissemination. We began the online dissemination, and each national team decided what they will do in their communities for offline dissemination.

After the coffee break, we started the final evaluation. We talked about Youthpass and the eight key competences. We received a short reminder to help us organise our ideas. We also received the notes we wrote on day one in the Time Machine. Some of us read them and realised how much we had achieved.

We continued with the Backpack activity: fears, contributions, and expectations. Some of us shared our thoughts. We closed the evaluation with another non-formal method, What Do I Take Home. The questions helped us reflect: What did you learn about yourself? What will you apply in your community? What did you like the most? What would you recommend for the future?

At the end, we had the Secret Friend reveal. During the day, we left messages on papers in the activity room for our new friends. This created a nice ending to this mobility.

This is not a goodbye; it is: See you soon.

Once Erasmus, always Erasmus.

Poland - Offline Dissemination

Otylia Olbińska, a member of the Polish team, organized a presentation about Erasmus+ projects at Bolesław Chrobry General Secondary School in Kłodzko on October 23rd, 2025. The event gathered 23 students interested in international exchange and non-formal learning. Otylia introduced the Erasmus+ program, explaining its goals and the opportunities it offers for young people’s personal growth, intercultural understanding, and skill development. She presented the “Level Up: Rural Youth in Action” project in Romania, which she had participated in, and described its activities such as workshops, teamwork, cultural evenings, and meetings with local entrepreneurs.

The presentation included authentic photos and stories from the exchange, helping students understand what Erasmus+ experiences look like in practice. The audience showed great interest and asked questions about joining similar projects. The session successfully promoted the Erasmus+ program and encouraged students to explore international opportunities for learning and self-development.

Poland - Online Dissemination

As part of the online dissemination, each Polish participant decided to share photos and a short description of the project on their social media (Facebook or Instagram), including a personal reflection about its value. In this way, the team promoted the Erasmus+ project, reaching their friends and followers and spreading awareness about international youth opportunities.

Our posts highlighted the importance of intercultural learning, teamwork, and creativity, inspiring others to take part in similar initiatives. This online activity helped strengthen the project’s visibility and showed how young people can use digital platforms to promote positive change and European values.
