As part of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange held in Vatra Dornei, Romania, Masooma, a member of the Italian team, organized an offline dissemination session for her classmates at the University of Trieste, where she is a BBA student. The presentation brought together a group of 15–20 university students who were interested in learning more about international mobility opportunities.
Masooma began by introducing the Erasmus+ programme, offering a clear and accessible explanation of what youth exchanges are, how they work, and how students can participate. She then presented the main details of the project in Vatra Dornei, including its location, topic, dates, participating countries, and the objectives focused on employability, teamwork, and personal development.
The session continued with an overview of Team Italy and their involvement throughout the exchange. Masooma described the group’s contributions, daily responsibilities, and the individual activities each member took part in.
She highlighted the collaborative spirit of the team and how working in a multicultural environment strengthened skills such as communication, adaptability, and problem solving.
She also dedicated a section of the presentation to the main activities designed by the facilitators, including the CV-writing workshop, simulated job interviews, and the study visit to the Acqua Carpatica facility in Vatra Dornei. These activities provided participants with practical insights into job preparation, workplace expectations, and real-life industry environments.
One of the most engaging parts of the dissemination was her explanation of the intercultural evenings, where each country showcased its traditions, foods, dances, and cultural identity. Through photos and short videos, she gave the audience a glimpse into the vibrant and enriching intercultural atmosphere that defined the exchange.
Masooma concluded the session by sharing her personal reflections on the project. She spoke about the positive impact the experience had on her confidence, creativity, and understanding of European youth collaboration. She described how the project not only helped her develop new skills but also allowed her to form meaningful friendships with participants from different countries.
The presentation ended with a slideshow of the most memorable moments from the exchange. The audience showed strong interest, asking questions about Erasmus+ opportunities, the application process, and what it was like to work closely with peers from different cultural backgrounds.
The dissemination activity proved highly effective in promoting the values of the Erasmus+ programme, encouraging interest among university students, and inspiring them to consider participating in future youth mobility projects.
By sharing real stories, photos, and hands-on experiences, Masooma succeeded in making the learning outcomes of the Vatra Dornei project relatable and motivating for her peers, fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for international non-formal education opportunities.
